Lank Rigg was conquered on Monday after work. Jonathan had a slow 10k on his plan for his marathon training. He decided that an easy fell run was a suitable substitute so I suggested this route:
The route basically followed the beck before climbing up to Whoap. From there, there was a pleasing run down before a climb up to Lank Rigg which looked much worse than it was. We ran down the blunt, and soggy, side of Lank Rigg, the area marked Kinniside Common, before crossing the river and flanking Burn edge to come out back at the road.
