Gerard has been away from running for a long time now, having had knee surgery and then being worried that he would need surgery on the other knee.
For his first run back on the fells, what better route than one which completes the Wainwrights.
With just Holme Fell and Black Crag to get, we parked at the intimidating Hodge Close then nipped up to Holme Fell before winding down and around Tarn Hows and up to the final fell, Black Crag.
Gerard's knee seemed to hold up ok. It will be great to get back on more runs with him. Take it easy though eh mate?
